Caswell, Summer Storms, Study One

Summer Storms, first explorations with pencils
Summer Storms, Watercolour sketch

The new wave of paintings begin to be blown in by the wind, that is stripping leaves from the trees as Autumn begins to bite.

Covid 19 has closed my Chalets, there are no visitors, so I turn back to the blank canvas, hoping that I can trade a few for the stuff that pays bills. Painting is the easy bit, but my brain becomes tangled as I try to work out which images I should turn to prints, what sizes the prints should be, how to get a good image to print from…..I find myself cleaning dust from under my bed in avoidance……

Help me please, no not to clean the dust but to begin the print making process…..Tell me which Paintings should I turn to prints? Which would you hang on your wall? What size would you buy?? Smallish, Medium, Large, Cards??? Comment here or on the face book feed……

Does anyone want to order a print to get me started?? …..

Why do I find it so hard to do this, when it is so easy to paint them?

I will await your suggestions…….

…….and in the meantime here are the seedling for my next large canvas. I wander with pencils, watercolour, chalks in search of the summer storms we had a few weeks back. I have them stored inside my mind, and as the leaves fall…..they will have to find their way out, this is the exciting bit….I have the time to paint and blog
