The mood of the moment, quick paintings……I let the ink have more power in the picture today, trying to find its energy. I paint quickly, this one took about an hour and a half, with interruptions from a white paw in black ink.. dipped in the water and flicked across the paper…and dogs barking at leaves, and birds in trees…and the thought of the postman. Perhaps you will hear them in the wind.

I never know if I am happy with the result until I have shaken the image from my mind, and am able to just consider the painting itself….here it is.
