More of a scribble than a drawing…..just wanted to capture the connection of movement, energy and time, speed. I drew it quickly, intuitively playing with marks. Not aiming for perfection just the sense of brief moments, the act of doing the drawing more important that the finished image.

I then put it in a sketch book and forgot about it.

It only chose to revel itself again clearing out my studio space ready to find the blank spaces and see what the marks do…..I liked it the minute it appeared……..it will inspire more of its kind, possibly trying to find that connection with Pole Vault that these ‘strange times’ have wiped away. Pole vault looks, in these moments only to be in the distant future………things maybe have changed for good.

I will have to explore it in different ways….find its flow in two dimension, and in time.
